Exercise

Exercising is important not only for our Medical Weight Loss Program but also for a healthy and happy life. It burns calories and raises your metabolism and you continue burning calories even after you’ve finished exercising.

It doesn’t matter the type of exercise you do, whether it’s walking, running, skating, swimming, hiking, cycling etc., exercise is the antidote to everything from weight gain, anxiety, stress, sad mood and low self confidence.

The benefits of exercising are:

  1. Stress/Anxiety reducer- through the release of endorphins, “the feel good hormones”

  3. Prevents cognitive decline
